National Endowment for the Arts
The
site provides up to date information on the National
Endowment for the Arts, it's grant programs and model
national projects. The site also includes a Guide to
the NEA, an overview of the agency's grantsmaking
programs and an Arts Resource Center that includes a
catalogue of publications. Guidelines and application
forms can be downloaded from the site. A new section
provides information on other federal agencies that
provide funding support for art and cultural
activities.

Southern
Arts Federation
The Southern
Arts Federation (SAF) was founded in 1975 as a
nonprofit regional arts agency dedicated to providing
leadership and support to affect positive change in
the arts throughout the South.Composed of seven major
programs, the organization works in partnership with
the state arts agencies of Alabama, Florida, Georgia,
Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina,
South Carolina and Tennessee.
Alabama Humanities Foundation
As the state
affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities
(NEH),
the AHF awards grants to nonprofit organizations for
projects such as photographic exhibitions,
conferences, lectures, teacher seminars, and film
productions. Grants are awarded on a competitive
basis as a means of fostering fresh and creative
humanities programming throughout Alabama. Other
programs are also offered that may be of interest to
your school or community.
The
Foundation Center
The Foundation
Center is an independent nonprofit information
clearinghouse established in 1956. The Center's
mission is to foster public understanding of the
foundation field by collecting, organizing,
analyzing, and disseminating information on
foundations, corporate giving, and related subjects.
The audiences that call on the Center's resources
include grantseekers, grantmakers, researchers,
policymakers, the media, and the general public.

Council
on Foundations
A nonprofit
membership association of grantsmaking foundations
and corporations.The Council on Foundations does not
provide service to grantseekers. The Council on
Foundations web site provides links to member
foundations and corporations' web sites primarily as
a resource for grantsmaking foundations interested in
their colleagues' Web activities.
